Job Description
The senior IT expert, under the IT Department Manager’s supervision, analyzes the current IT work processes, workflows, and procedures. They aid in creating IT guidelines for end-users, monitor implemented computer systems, and conduct assessment studies on information requirements and potential in-house software development or commercial off-the-shelf purchases. Additionally, they assess the technical efficiency of hardware during procurement, support the modification and implementation of acquired and customized software programs, and assist users in resolving system issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze existing IT work processes, workflows, and procedures.
- Assist in preparing IT guidelines for end-users.
- Monitor and maintain applied computer systems.
- Conduct assessment studies on information requirements and software options.
- Evaluate technical efficiency of hardware during acquisition.
- Assist in modifying and implementing acquired and customized software programs.
- Provide support to users in resolving system problems.
- Collaborate with the IT Department Manager and team members effectively.
- Stay updated with advancements in IT technology and best practices.
- Contribute to the improvement of IT infrastructure and processes.
Education
- BSC/MSC degree in Information Communication Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering
Experience
- Minimum of 6 years of experience for BSc and 4 years of experience for MSc holders in similar positions
Knowledge and other skills
- Comprehensive understanding of ERP System.
- Experience in LAN administration.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills.
- Capable of working effectively in a team environment.
