Job Description

Currently, we have an exciting opportunity for the role of Distribution Planner, and we are looking for passionate, capable, and competent candidates who are prepared to work with passion and focus.
The position is structured to report to the Distribution Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- The daily distribution planning of orders from SAP
- Out of delivery day customer scheduling and adjusting for once off special requests from customers
- Plan, update and allocate available resources
- Customer files and territories so that customer demands can be met and asset utilization can be optimized.
- Distribution planning & control
- Delivery windows
- Offloading times and Duration
- Active/Available vehicles
- Customer class and delivery group allocations
- Product modelling
- Routing and Route Optimisation
- Resource allocation
- Customer GPS coordinates
Education, Experience and Skills
- First Degree in Logistics & Supply chain Management /Accounting or related field of studies
- Minimum of 2 years logistics experience.
- Having knowledge of Microsoft Office is advantageous for a candidate.
